NeeuroFit

This is a group-based neurofeedback programme for individuals interested to develop or enhance their executive and cognitive brain functions. The programme uses a non-invasive Brain-Computer-Interface (BCI) game with a group-based curriculum to help individuals develop mastery over brain functions like memory, decision making, cognitive flexibility, spatial ability and attention.

Memory

Memory is important for storing and retrieving information. This comes in both short and long-term memory. Training lets us improve aspects such as working memory. Working memory can be thought of as a mental sticky note that helps us keep tabs on information until we need to use it for thinking, comprehending and problem solving.

Decision Making

In decision-making, we gather information and assess the right choices. By training logic and reasoning skills, we can make more mindful decision by organising relevant information and outlining alternatives.

Cognitive Flexibility

Training cognitive flexibility lets you efficiently shift your attention between one task and another. One example is switching between reading instructions from a cookbook and preparing a meal.

Spatial Ability

Spatial ability refers to the ability to understand, reason, and remember the spatial relations among objects or space. Spatial training is relevant for daily tasks like driving, using maps, and even exercising or playing sports.

Attention

Attention is the ability to concentrate on important things that matter at any given time. Our attention training games encourage players to gain a higher attention span to process new concepts and complete daily tasks with more ease.

Brain-Computer-Interface (BCI) game

This interface is used with a neurofeedback device to assess, train, and track cognitive skills and brain performance. EEG information and mental state data are obtained during the training.

A wide range of games is designed by neuroscientists and game developers. There will also be personalized profiles created for individuals to access and store training details such as game scores, EEG data and overall performance.

Group-based Curriculum

A detailed 12-months curriculum with step-by-step guidance to maximize individual’s brain fitness. There are effective digital brain training tools and tactile learning through hands-on exercises.

The curriculum is divided into 4 courses, and each course is recommended to be taken sequentially, but not necessarily immediately after the preceding course is completed.

The curriculum progression is guided by scientific games and methodologies, and it utilizes neurofeedback sensors to detect the individual’s level of focus and mental effort during training.

This is an instructor-led training with loads of fun and scientific cognitive games and activities. Individuals make progress through the curriculum with brainwaves tracking, BCI progress reports, brain journals and assessments.

This course comprises 12 weekly sessions, with the inclusion of 4 BCI games, 2 attention booster games, and a cognitive function assessment.
